Make sure this fits by entering your model number. Just got a new ps3 for the first time not sure how to charge it exactly. So now i put my ps4 on standby mode and plug the ps3 charger into the ps4 usb port. Fine you ll just leave them to juice up.

But when the ps3 is on standby mode you can plug the ps3 controller into a computer s usb port while the computer is on to charge it.
