Pop up camper vinyl waterproofing. Pop up campers have fabrics that could be vinyl or canvas cotton or it could be both vinyl plus canvas. Wash the pop up camper with a mild soap and soft brush. Put waterproofing paint in a bucket then start applying from the top of your tent down. Most new models come with vinyl that is very much waterproof. Vinyl sided tent campers are naturally waterproof as vinyl is a waterproof material. It is an effective way of how to clean up a popup camper canvas.
While there is no standard rule of thumb for how often to waterproof frequent treatments are the best way to guarantee a dry camper. We weren t very diligent about wiping up overspray the second time we treated the canvas and it discolored our vinyl in a few spots. Vinyl material gives good waterproofing to the pop up camper. Rinse well and let it dry.
Work from the top of the camper down applying an even coat of waterproofing with the paint brush. Unlike tents tent campers are raised off of the ground so there is no fear that the tent camper could take on water from the floor. After this now rinse it well and let it dry completely. I had previously removed mold inside the trailer by clea. Do notget the fabric guard on the vinyl as it will damage it.
